CSM Kick-off (No Patrycja)

Notes from Charles prior to Meeting

DataSnipper - Intelligence Audit Platform Current: Live ILTs (12 Hours per Week) Pains: Scale, Timezones, Language, Pace, etc. Goals:

  • Provide Scalability w/o Adding Team Members
  • Reduce Manual Hours of Training
  • Eliminate Discovery of Progress
  • Better User Experience Timeline:
  • Phased Launch:
  • v1 - Basic Course (relatively quick)
  • The teams you will be working with are Implementation Services (Dirk - Main POC) and CS and then Marketing (webinars) and HR (for compliance training)
  • Implementation and CS will be main drivers - Marketing will be v2 most likely and there is only 1 team member from HR (very lightweight)
  • Webinars will be big component for them tho so just keep in mind

Attendees

  • Gabriele, Candide, Dirk, Sangeetha, Rachel

Teams

  • A ton of ILTs
  • Dirk, Candida, Sangeetha, Rachel - all on onboarding learners
  • Tech-touch approach
  • Gabriele is siloed, this is for new hires

Goals and Info

  • First users in early October
  • Data: at least understand how many people are going through the courses
    • Data should be available in Hubspot
  • They are also looking at CSPs.
  • Have refined the ILT approach, so they are good at it.
  • Began with 1:1 training which was too heavy for the team.
  • That approach won't go away, but how can they supplement with asynchronous learning?
  • Content of the larger session is pretty well defined
  • Larger session and then that session is split into two
  • Pace and speed of the sessions - there's a ton of content
  • Feedback: the middle bulk of info is missed because that is the most technical
  • Automation feature is hard to understand.
  • Everyone is currently getting the same training, but this is a good opportunity to split people up.

Where are they?

  • Where do I fit into implementation and on-going support?
    • What's best for Patrycja vs me? When should they go to both?
  • Advice on how content is structured
  • Creating interactive and content that can be scalable
  • How to sequence the training over time?
  • Communications - what's best? How to share new content? How to update their progress?
  • Gabriele: he wants to understand data sync - not just from Northpass out, but back in? DONE: 930 am on Mondays for the standing meeting.
  • Gab and Dirk talking this week about personas.
  • One last Q from Dirk: He wanted to confirm that they are no longer in a trial environment. They weren't!

Remaining Sync Items

Communications deep dive - sender address, footers, options, etc.

  • Gabriele's topic
  • Communications into two "tracks", and within those tracks there are always two tracks
  • Standard onboarding > two macro tracks - high and low performing
  • Comms to announce that learners are registered > main POC on client side
  • Comms with learners about the registration
  • Everything will be triggered based on health --> What does that mean?
  • Broad health categories, if a client falls within a range.

Overview from Dirk:

  • Content furiously being prepared over last week
  • Content outlines completed
  • Iorad and videos will be completed.
  • First course draft will be completed this week.
  • Internal testers + Norm

Remaining Items: 5. Presentations uploaded losing Font formatting, and the page-by-page setting does not seem to set for all users

  • Jost for regularly and Jost Medium for headings.
  • Presentation specifically, default to paginate, not scroll.
  • Change default functionality.
  • Making a file available in the same page as video activity rather than as separate activity
  • Hubspot link within "additional information"

ILTs & Timezone

  • Local Timezone not showing

FEAT: Can activities or sections be leveraged across multiple courses --> Feature Request In addition: activate or deactivate activities based on a property.

Patrycja to provide updates at meeting

  • Dirk and Sangeetha only two DS people to join.
  • Candide to join late if her other meeting cancels.

Design Updates:

  • A ton of progress on the designs and everything is looking good.
  • Patrycja to sync with the engineer later today
  • Opened the floor to questions from Dirk. His questions:
    • Adding a language toggle for content. Leverage in-built Google Translate for browsers.
    • Patrycja mentioned that Google Translate or AI don't work
    • But, apparently, Charles showed them something on a demo at the CSS layer. Need to confirm with Charles.
  • Update Course Viewer to be more like the Course page. Feels like you're moving to another system between course page/LX.
  • There was one shared in Figma - Growth tribe.
  • Dirk showed some examples:
    • They want the TOC to remain on the same side in both LX and Templates. No strong preference to R or L side.
    • Video/Wistia colors are a different blue. Make them DS blue.
    • Header should be same in and outside of LX.
    • Dirk doing deep dive tomorrow morning on what the changes are and will send them over.
  • Patrycja reminded that this was a work in progress, things will be wonky and be updated over time.
  • Questions about Badges - he said he couldn't find them and Patrycja chuckled and let him know that its totally custom.
    • Dirk has some designs, but only one was added to Figma.
  • Internal discussions on the number of activities per course. Some DS people adding a ton of activities.
  • Dirk wants to add time next to section or activities for estimated time to complete

Design:

  • Grey-out badges should be more opaque/faded
  • Fix Links in header
  • Add Resources Description on button.

Notes:

  • Gabriele's launch is at the same time as Dirk's
  • Dirk wants testers in the academy this week.
  • Dirk to ping Daniel about sendgrid sectors
  • Iorad relationship has been great! Did some training with the team lately.
  • Heads down on course content
  • Big thing for Dirk:
    • Get a live environment to have people begin testing
    • Hide the following pages:
      • Learning Paths
      • Catalog
  • "What's next in Intelligent Automation"
  • ILT Cards - Remove descriptions because they don't have consistent copy for each ILT:
    • Unsanitze HTML
    • 4 lines, then ellipses
    • Font size is good
  • For specific webinars, they will be attached CEUs and "attendance time".
  • They also want to collect how many polls an attendee answers in the zoom.
  • Auto opens section of current activity.

Monday Sync

  • Patrycja successfully reminded that design items are to go to her, not me.
  • Item for agenda: figure out technical email domain stuff.

Few items from Dirk:

  • Signature event in NYC, Tuesday afternoon.
    • Academy is going to be announced!
      • Will also be shared on LinkedIn
    • Trigger people to want to try it out.
    • How will these people ask for access?
      • Key steps: group for each customer
      • Initial Hubspot flow from Sushant
      • Learning Path must be in the group!
      • Dirk will want to explore best analytics dashboards for a launch.
      • Imp managers may reach out to CSMs to see who is ready
    • If clicking on link from LinkedIn - no enrollments, one catalog course (tips and tricks).
    • Prospects will be at the event too.
  • Showed him open access - and auto-group provisioning
  • Kaitlyn to update the SG sectors for domainkeys.
  • Make the docs available in Hubspot
  • Remind Charles about Translation in course viewer.

Hande, Dirk, follow up questions

  • A few remaining questions from Dirk to "move forward"
  • Not happy that LPs are for admins only
  • Ideally, we will get the Hubspot automation setup for client groups
  • However, some CSMs will need to come in and make some edits
  • Admins seem a bit overzealous TODO: Send Hande product roadmap items, communities, product updates TODO: Test archived courses URLs and if we get a 404 or 302.

Action Items:

  • Auto group creation and assignment of Learning Paths via API.
  • Ask Sushant for payload, but they also temporarily have the Hubspot conversion team.
  • Want to run messaging out of Hubspot, but it's not clear how Hubspot shows who is/isn't enrolled.
  • TODO: Check with partners team for Hubspot logs and why progress isn't being sent to Hubspot. Dirk & Audit course.
  • Can the integration clean up old courses in Hubspot properties?
  • Hande wants to send email when someone is signed up to an LP. What does Hubspot data look like?
    • Email 1: Access to Learning Path
    • Email 2: Inactivity Nudge
    • Email 3: Badge/Course completion
